Bollywood Workout Shed calories and inches while you dance like a goddess. Bollywood dance is the newest fitness craze to hit the states. Instructor Dimitra Neonakis takes you through a routine that combines regal classical Indian dance with the energetic folk dance of Punjab and spices it up with all the latest film moves. Set to the latest beats from Bombay and London the workout will keep you smiling. Dimitra begins and ends the session with yoga trance dance and simple guided meditation. Come celebrate your divine spirit and shake your groove thing all in one class. Instructor Dimitra Neonakis has her MA in Dance Education from American University and has studied and taught Indian Dance and Yoga since 1987. |
Tao Yin Yoga, Saturday, April 17 We only get one body while we are here. No one else will ever live in the body you own. Learn how to empty out negative emotions and stress to uncover the healing potential that lives naturally inside each of us. Tao Yin yoga is a blend of ancient Chinese medical and Indian hatha yoga healing systems Each class combines chi-gong, healing postures, visualizations and spiritual cultivation. Most of the poses are practiced primarily on the floor enabling the body to be supported by the earth. Sustaining the poses for long periods allows the body to open into the pose like a flower opening into a bloom. |
Yoga Parties
Bring a group of family, friends or co-workers in for your own private yoga class. Lots of fun for all ages. Gentle classes are taught at a level appropriate for all participants. Could be a great friend’s night out, birthday bash or stress reliever. Call or email to schedule.
One hour children’s party - $100 (maximum 10 participants)
One and one half hour adult party - $150 (maximum 12 participants)
Private Instruction
Focus on therapeutic uses of yoga and alignment. Suitable for those wishing to advance their practice as well as those needing extra attention because of injury, illness, etc.
$75/hour, Please call to arrange.
After 5 p.m., the doors to the building are locked. Please ring the doorbell at either door to gain entry.
